Breckenridge has 5 peaks that caters to all skill levels. It is known for its excellent terrain parks. The village is unique in that it combines a vibrant atmosphere, historic charm, and a modern ski resort. It's laidback vibe, quaint shops, and cozy eateries and breweries, makes it a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike.
Known for its luxurious and prestigious reputation, Aspen has 4 mountains, which offers diverse terrain for all skill levels. It generally has one of the longest ski seasons with its abundant snowfall. The village is a bustling social hub with lively après-ski culture, from upscale cocktail bars to casual après spots.
Steamboat is famously known for its "Champagne Powder", a light, dry, and fluffy snow. It offers abundant glade skiing (tree skiing) and long, uninterrupted runs, some of which extend for more than three miles in length. It is a charming, laid-back town with a unique Western heritage, known for its cowboy culture and rustic, yet upscale, ambiance.
Beaver Creek is family-oriented, offering a range of activities and amenities designed to make the experience enjoyable for all ages. It's abundance of smooth groomed runs makes for an enjoyable skiing experience, especially for beginners and intermediates. Compared to some other larger resorts, Beaver Creek has a quieter, more intimate feel.
Breckenridge has 5 peaks that caters to all skill levels, including several slopes specifically designed for kids and beginners. It also offers activities beyond skiing, including ice skating, tubing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides. It also has a Recreation Center with an indoor swimming pool, climbing wall, and basketball courts.
Leadville does not have its own ski resort. Therefore, its the perfect town to take the family for all non-ski adventures! Enjoy the popular scenic train ride onboard the Winter Express! Go dogsledding and play with the happy huskies pulling you. Take the kids ice skating, tubing, or explore the mining museum. Or for more adrenaline, enjoy a zipline that flies at 12,800 ft.
