The cost you pay today is all that we collect for our planning services, which is the price of the itinerary you purchase on our website. It is a one-time non-refundable cost.  There is no price mark up for bookings. In other words, our profit comes from commissions from hotels, tours, etc., and not from you! We will simply collect the exact amount of your booking costs, in a separate final payment. This is all transparent as we will forward you copies of original booking receipts for your own reference and bookkeeping.

There are additional service fees if you want to make optional customizations to the itinerary, such as adding or removing days, requesting flight bookings, requesting hiking routes, gear rentals, or adding one of our special trips.

After you purchase one of our itineraries, we will send you a confirmation that includes a link to fill out our questionnaire. The detailed questionnaire will tell us your preferences, needs, interests, and special requests. We will then personalize your chosen itinerary to include accommodations within your budget, activities that match your interests, and any other customizations you've chosen.

Absolutely! Our services differ from traditional tour bookings and travel agencies because we make everything flexible for you. We can continue to tweak your itinerary until it is just the way you want, and is within your budget! Keep in mind however, once bookings are confirmed, fees for changes will be dependent on each specific vendor/merchant's own cancellation policies.

The cost we collect for our planning services, which is the price of the itinerary you purchased on our website, is not refundable.  

Bookings (such as car rentals, accommodations, activities) may be refundable, however, once bookings are confirmed, cancellations and refunds are dependent on the specific merchant or vendor's own policies. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance so you may receive reimbursements for unexpected situations that may require you to cancel.

For summer trips, we highly suggest late May through late September. Our mountains generally still have snow in early May and will begin to cover in snow by October. Traveling outside of the suggested dates increases many travel risks- such as safety risks, risk of activity cancellations, risk of road closures, and risk of not getting the most out of your trip! 

Winter itineraries are generally planned around ski trips. The best months for winter sports is generally late December through mid March. 

As for custom itineraries, we only offer this service for Colorado currently. However, we do also offer general bookings (not custom) for no additional service fee at numerous destinations all over the world, including all-inclusive resorts, cruises, safaris, group tours, and luxury destinations.
